She was predeceased by: her parents, William Yaeger and Ella Yaeger (Bartz); her husband Kenneth Theodore Shanks; her children, William and Kathleen; her children-in-law, William Newman, Tom Bangart and Diane Shanks; and her siblings, Clifford, Irene and Viola.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Jirschele (Mike), Mary Newman and Robert Shanks (Penny); and also Buschkopf. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
