He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bastman and Elsie Bastman (Rodenberg); and his sister Kalene Thevenot. He is survived by: his wife Judy VanderKooi; his children, Jody Held (Joey Pitts), Sherri Kaiser (Craig) and Todd Bastman of Stratford; his grandchildren, Vicky Bastman, Samantha Bauer (Cody), Bridget Bastman, Tyler Bastman, Kyle Kaiser, Emalie Myszka (Dylan) and Mitchell Kaiser; his great grandchildren, Adeline Harrison, Wyatt Bauer and Ellsie Myszka; and his sisters, Jeri Brandl (Ron) of Chili and Rhonda Graf (Erick) of Clinton.
