He was predeceased by: his parents, George Niehus and Evelyn Burton (Adams); and his sister Beverly Runstrom (Roy). He is survived by: his wife Gerda Lausch; his children, Christina Roderick (Jay), Lisa Miller and Marc Niehus (Katy); his grandchildren, Ashley Munoz (Diana), Lauren Metzler (Chris), Rachael Fields (Ethan), Alexis Miller, Nick Niehus (Delany) and Dante Miller; and his great grandchildren, Landon Munoz, Theo Fields and Ellie Fields.
