He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlynn Bennett and Agnes Bennett (Moen); his siblings, Monica Kreibich-Fritz and Richard Bennett; and his friend Tom Lunde.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Schluter; his sons, Tom (Sandra) and John (Donna); and his sister Marie Bodeen. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stoughton Senior Center or a charity of the donor's choice.
