He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hoel and Karen Hoel; and his wife Shirley Obrecht. He is survived by: his sons, Ken and Brad Hoel (Mary); and his sisters, Betty Shield, Elsie Splinter (Kenny) and Helen Bakken (Clifford). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; four great great granddaughters.
