She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Bondehagen and Elise Bondehagen (Arneson); and her son Joel. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Barr (Tom) of Minneapolis and Mary Zoroufy of Madison; and her grandchildren, Jim Barr (Diane), Kathy Barr, Mike Barr (Danielle), David Barr (Jada), Darius Zoroufy (Holly), Hussein Zoroufy (Tammy), Jeff Ylvisaker (Angela Waltz), Steve Ylvisaker and Joel Ylvisaker (Erin). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Humane Society, Porch Light and 1st Lutheran Church, Stoughton.
