She was predeceased by: her father John Hanson. She is survived by: her husband John Hanson; her children, Christine, Carla (Sarah) and Eric Hanson (Anne); her grandchildren, Navy Jones, Nolin Jones, Elsa Jones, Elina Jones and Rhea Hanson; and her siblings, Ron Bothum (Debbie), Mary Goggin (Bob) and John Bothum (Sara). She is also survived by many cousins; nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
