She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Ellis and Catherine Ellis (Groose); and her siblings, Shirley Brown, Leona Nelson and Dick Ellis.

She is survived by: her husband Harold Stoikes; her son Terry Stoikes (Kathy); her granddaughter Alicia Gourlie; and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Evelyn and Jack.
