He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sylte and Helen Sylte (McKibben); his wife Tania "Toni" Sylte; and his siblings, Robert Sylte and Carrie Ferris.
He is survived by: his children, Natalie Marmor (Don) and James Sylte (Teresa); his grandchildren, Bobby Dobroski (Emily), Mark Dobroski (Jacinda), Kai Sylte and Noah Sylte; his great grandchildren, Ashton and William Dobroski; and his brother Richard Sylte (Janie).
