She was predeceased by: her parents, John Almond and Anna Almond (Strandlie); and her husbands, John Olson, Fran Melaas and Sam Gjermo (John Waring).

She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Groshan (Steve) and Samantha Gjermo; her grandchildren, Lucas, Derek (Maggie), Parker, Oliver, Logan, Aurelia and Ethan; and her brothers, Ron Almond (Barb) and Jackie Almond (Jeanette). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
