He was predeceased by: his parents, Janie M. Franklin, (Dash) and Herman Franklin, Sr.; and his siblings, LeRoy and Annie Miller. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Franklin (Cathy) and Ashley Franklin (Madison); his siblings, Edward Franklin (Deborah), Carl Franklin (Vivian), Little Rock, Ark, Allen Franklin and Norma Stroman (Thomas) of Orangeburg, S. C.; his granddaughters, Le'Teasha Franklin-Porter (Gershon) and Jasmine Franklin; his great grandchildren, Abigail Franklin-Porter, Jazzlyn Franklin and Judah Franklin-Porter of Madison; and his former wives, Pauline Wilson and Sharon Franklin. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Oregon Village Hall (101 Alpine Pkwy, Oregon, WI 53575).
