He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Olav Fosdal and Mildred Fosdal (Slinde); his wife Shelly; his grandchildren, Scott (Lauren), Griffin and Sydney Fosdal of Bozeman, MT; his children, Kristen (Sean), Jacob, Will, Mim and Henry Marsan of Eden Prairie, MN; his grandchildren, Carolyn (Dustin), Ally and Ethan Barels of Whitewater; his stepsons, Tom (Laura), Lucas and Owen Menzer of Waukesha; his brother Norris Fosdal of Stoughton; his children, Eric and Kathy; his sister Kären Bakken (Eric) of Mt. Horeb; and his children, Kaia, Mollie and Erica.
