He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Thode and Dorothy Thode (Reid); and his siblings, Fred Thode and Madeline Thums. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Wis); his sons, Michael Thode (Sarah), Timothy Thode (Michelle), William Thode (Sandy) and Robert Thode (Christina); his brother William Johnsen (June); his stepbrother Gary Hubble; and his brother-in-law Ron Thums. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Pacific Garden Mission, The Badger Honor Flight, Agrace HospiceCare, Stoughton Baptist Church, or SCAA.
