She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gunnelson and Inez Gunnelson (Krueger); her son Duane "Dewey" Wendt; her brother Richard Gunnelson; and her brothers-in-law, Rodney Wendt (JoAnne) and Herbert Wendt (Violet).

She is survived by: her husband Will; and her children, Charlotte Wendt (Robert Gemmill), Sandra Wendt (Bill Thorson) and Scott Wendt (Susie).
