Doris June Helmke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris June Helmke (Stoughton, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Sveum and Mabel Sveum (Olson); her husband Donald "Don" Helmke; her siblings, Arthur (Irene), Ogden (Coryl), Lynn (Geraldine) and Deanie Karlslyst; her mother-in-law Mable Helmke (Olsen); and also, Eileen Godleski (Hank), Merlin "Bud" Helmke (Gertrude), Grace and Doris Staffrude (Ruffin).

She is survived by: her children, Susan, Karl and Jane Helmke (Teresa Sterns); and her grandchildren, Keegan and Grace Helmke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
