He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Beckwith and Juanita Beckwith (Horton); his parents-in-law, Robert and Alvina Johnson; his daughter Denise; his brother-in-law Gerald Johnson; and his nephew Christopher Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Johnson; his son Kevin (Ashley); his grandchildren, Aaryk, Kaelyn and Cade; his son Ryan (Natasha); his grandchildren, Sierra, Savannah and Samantha; his daughter Valerie McColligan (Shane); his grandchildren, Aiden and Brody; his sister Donna Beckwith; his nephew Brad Beckwith; and his parents-in-law, Greg Johnson (Judy), Gloria Harris (John), Geneva Braun (Sam) and Glenda Kojo (Tim).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Agrace Hospice or St. Ann's Endowment Fund.
