He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Pernot and Hanna Pernot (Martin); his sisters, Joyce Pernot, Vivian Lerch (Douglas), Marilyn Elsner (Emmett) and Pauline Wittenwiler (Bruce); and his nephews, Charles, Roger and Rex Elsner.

He is survived by: his brother Richard L. Pernot. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
