With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guy Richard Dettlo of Stone Lake, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Dettlo and Diane Dettlo (Weyker); and his brother-in-law Michael Schoop. He is survived by: his wife Darcy of Stone Lake, WI; his sons, Joseph Dettlo (Erin) of Palatine, IL and Francis Dettlo of Chicago, IL; his stepchildren, Nathan Smith of Maple Grove, MN, Dana Smith of Chicago, IL, Shannon Merrigan of Wonder Lake, IL and Tracy Mason (Bill) of Rockford, IL; his grandchildren, Greyson, Camden and Brooklyn; and his siblings, Mark Dettlo (Michelle) of Huntley, IL and Debbie Schoop of Hoffman Estates, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
