It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Williams (Stoddard, Wisconsin), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 12, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Williams and Mary Williams (Lusk); his spouse Rosaline Luttrell; his son Daniel L. Williams (Joanne); his sons-in-law, Steve Smith and Maynard Pederson; his siblings, Bill Williams, George "Chut" Williams (Dorothy), Florence (Alfred Steiger) and Evelyn (Oberlin Aanas); and his brother-in-law Jack Spettel.

He is survived by: his children, Ruth Pederson of Genoa, James D. Williams (Lori) of Stoddard, Cindy Smith of Stoddard and David Williams (Lisa) of Stoddard; his sister Ruth Spettel of California; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Williams of La Crosse. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
