He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Werner and Evelyn Werner. He is survived by: his children, Greg (Kim) of Genoa, WI and Lisa Kujath (Mark) of La Crosse; his grandchildren, Austin, Henry, Sam, Molly Werner, Shane, Kassidy, Branden Smith, Brittany Kujath, Madeline and Mitchell Lash; and his siblings, Diane Ray (Michael) of Waukesha, WI, David Werner (Linda) of West Salem, WI, Roger Werner (Deborah) of Stoddard, WI and Gerald Werner (Alana) of Warrens, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
