He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard R. Strasser and Marion J. Strasser (Huebner); his sister Debbie Kopecky; and his niece Melisa Ann Strasser. He is survived by: his brother Duane Strasser of Stoddard; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Callen of Westby and Lisa Janzen (Ethan); his brother-in-law Reed Kopecky of Onalaska; and also, Michele Janzen (Cody), Hailee, Elsa, Brooks of Westby, Michael Strasser (Ashley) and Maverick of Viroqua. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
