It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Christie of Stockbridge, Wisconsin, born in Bonesteel, South Dakota, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schumacher and Elizabeth Schumacher (Skalla); her husband Justin Christie; her granddaughter Erin Ludwig; her siblings, Vincent Schumacher (Ida), Lester Schumacher (Marie), Alred Schumacher (Madeline), Dorothy Kiefer (Arthur) and Maxine Kettenhofen (Robert); and also, James, Monica Christie, Margaret Trott (Don), Kay Lewellen (Jim), Dolores Hemauer (Earl) and Mary Alice Christie.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Ludwig (Paul) of Chilton, Jeff Christie (Jeanne) of Gays Mills, Peg Meyer (Jim) of Sturgeon Bay, Pat Christie (Mike Shouldice) of Mercer, Mary Christie (Greg Heuser) of Mosinee, Amy Christie of Chilton and Janine Christie (Gary Karls) of Stockbridge; her grandchildren, Todd Ludwig (Shelly), Brad Ludwig (Trisha), Eric Ludwig (Sharon), Nic Ludwig (Angie), Tom Christie (Meghan), Ellen Christie, Dr. Cari Meyer (Steve Yazawa), Ryan Meyer (Shannon), Kristen Erdman (John) and Justin Karls (Sara); and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Sawyer Ludwig, Lawson, Ava Ludwig, Jackson, Hudson, Mason Ludwig, Everleigh, Brooks Ludwig, Jack, Mason Christie, Brynna, Makena, Logan, Lilah Yazawa, Claire, Anna Meyer, Atlas and Indira Erdman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
