He is survived by: his wife Chris of Stitzer; his children, Kim Govier (Rickie) of Fennimore, Mic Carl (Jenny Goodwiler) of Basswood and Kristin Nihles (Joe) of Fennimore; his grandchildren, Courtney Sheckler (Wade) of Fennimore, Dakota Govier of Dubuque, IA, Dallas Day of Stitzer and Kaiden Nihles of Fennimore; his great grandchildren, Maxdon and MaCoy Sheckler; and his siblings, Beverly Carl of Fennimore, Mike Carl (Cindy) of Stitzer, Colleen Carl of Jefferson City, MO, Barbara Larson (Ron) of Montfort, Marvin Carl (Tina) of Fennimore, Rita Lease (Vince) of Fennimore, Janet Carl of Fennimore, Mitch Carl (Darlene) of Stitzer and Michele Carl of Masonville, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Marlin W. Carl.
