He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Michel and Edna Michel (Wefel). He is survived by: his wife Jolly Beck Werner; his daughter Rose (Paul Cutting); his grandchildren, Asa, Tilla and Ella Cutting of Fennimore; and his brother James Michel (Jane) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by cousins and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stitzer United Methodist Church (11542 Kluckhohn St, Stitzer, WI 53825). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in memory of John Michel and will be distributed to local organizations supportive of music, theater and development opportunities involving young people.
