She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bitters and Mabel Bitters (Richer); her spouse Verlyn Hegeman; her children, Jeff Hegeman, Susan Dolata and Mary Hegeman; and her siblings, Byron "Chip" Bitters, Roger Bitters, Ken Bitters, Loretta Lipp and Shirley Imig.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Matel (Jim), Terry Hegeman (Ann) and Tim Hegeman (Roxanne); her daughter-in-law Susan Hegeman; her sister Barb Eckes (Bill); her sister-in-law Joyce Hegeman; and her grandchildren, Luke Hegeman (Sarah), Laura Ericson, Charlie Hegeman (Keely), Doug Hegeman, Julie Schippa (Jerry), Philip Hegeman (Luke Pinion), Jennifer Mondragon Murcia (Antonio), Robert Hegeman (Jennifer), Alicia Hegeman, Nicholas Dolata (Tamara), Tylor Dolata, Becky Matel, Kari Matel and Olivia Matel. She is also survived by twenty five great grandchildren.
