He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Showers and Dorothy Showers; and his children, Robert Thomas, John Patrick and Heidi.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Kathryn and Kimberly; and his pet Belli. He is also survived by six sisters and one brother, 4 cats.
He was proud that he was Covid-19 free.
The family has requested that a donation be made to a Diabetes Foundation in Lieu of flowers.
