He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Donald J. Taft and Genevieve Dufort Taft. He is survived by: his friend Dr. Dick Reigel; his sons, Brian (Colleen) and Andrew (Erica); his grandchildren, Echo, Graham and Fiona; his sisters, Sheila (Fitzgerald) and Rachel (Pontzer); his nieces, Laura and Abigail; his nephew Zachary (Kathleen); and his friend Sol Sepsenwol.
