He is survived by: his wife Claire Henriksen-Knudsen; his stepchildren, Hannah Garcia Noah Garcia (Sarwang Parikh) and Ome Garcia; and his siblings, Eva Knudsen, Jim Magowan (Eleanor), Patricia Magowan Rudikoff (Neal) and R. Daniel Magowan (Kirsten). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
