He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slicer and Dorothy Slicer (Dunbar); and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Stacey Slicer; his stepchildren, Shaun Michael McMahon (Katherine) and Angela Kohn (Marc); and his siblings, Donald Slicer (Peggy) and Carole Cory (Jan).
