He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Flugaur and Edith Flugaur (Wettstien); his wife Ramona Sorenson of Stephen's Church; his in-laws, Leonard and Johanna Sorenson; his children-in-law, Robert Kalpinski and Sharon Flugaur; and his siblings, Norman (Betty), Robert (Rose), JoAnne Giese (Art), Lorraine Glodowski (Ben), Jeanette Sturm (Jay), Ethel Bord (Richard) and Phyllis Schelvan (Tom).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Kalpinski, Susan Schulist (Gregory), Mary Flugaur, Gary Flugaur (Annette), Thomas Flugaur and Rick Flugaur (Lesa); and his grandchildren, Robert Jr., Joel, Jenny, Brent, Jesse, Jill, Brianna, Brittney, Brandon, Kristin, Nicole, Kimberly, Alyssa, Ryan, Lindsey and Troy. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the St. Stephen's Church (1401 Clark St, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
