Robert G. Monear Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert G. Monear of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, born in Manistique, Michigan, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert G. Monear to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Monear and Aileen Monear (Riley); his brother Eddie Monear; his son-in-law James Edwards III; and his grandsons, James Edwards IV and Joshua Edwards.
He is survived by: his friend Doreen Zielinsky; his former wife Sharon Monear; his children, Joe Monear (Amy) and Janelle Edwards (Dan Reigel); his grandsons, Justin and Johnathan Edwards; and his siblings, Gail Marquis (Rick), Nancy Neverve (Adrian) and Daryl Monear (Luna). He is also survived by nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorials be designated in Bob's honor to the Stevens Point Sixers; a part of the American Legion baseball program.
