He is survived by: his children, Chad Steckel (Mary Jo), Bridget Soik (Scott) and Gretchen Zinda (Scott Kerchefski); his grandchildren, Brittany Zarecki, Hunter Hintz, Mitchell Steckel, Haven Hintz, Parker Soik, Warren Soik and Mason Soik; his great grandchildren, Mattie and Riley Zarecki; his stepmother Sandy Steckel; and his siblings, Debbie Reimann, Steve Steckel (Jackie), Billy Steckel and Jodi Moore (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
