He is survived by: his wife Josephine Crawford (Joey); and his children, Debra Knippel (Toby), Susan Weronke (Rex), Richard Harwood, Dennis Harwood (Diane), Jacqueline Hoerter (Ken) and Barbara Harwood Flatoff (Brad).
