Richard C. Wellman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2022, at the age of 79, Richard C. Wellman of Stevens Point, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Wellman and Susan Wellman. He is survived by: his brother Roger Wellman (family: Korrine, David Loehrke, Joe, Jessalyn Rietz); his nieces and nephews, Leo, Sophia, Kacen, Catherine (Rietz) and Josh Hanson; his nephew Dennis Rietz; and also Azalea. He is also survived by his family, and his foster family of 32 years.
With assistance from Community Industries Corporation's Employment Services program, Richard worked from 1989 to 2007 in various jobs including recycling at UWSP, donations pick up at St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store, providing cleaning services at a local church and Rogers Cinema, and delivering Buyers Guide papers via a walking route.
