He was predeceased by: his parents, Pantalion Sanchez (Leon) and Andrea Sanchez (Gomez); and his siblings, Julia, Dorothy, Mary Jane, Leon and Larry.

He is survived by: his wife Arline Daily; his stepdaughters, Suzanne Tesch and Sarah Tesch; his siblings, Sam (Sue), Paul, Gloria Villarreal (Fred), Blanca Ruiz (Benny), Earnest and Sal Neito (Elena); and his godson Luka.
