The passing of Nadine L. Churkey of Stevens Point, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Purgett and Eleanor Purgett (Wood) of Owen, WI.; her son Donald Ray; her brothers, Norman, Maynard and Wayne Purgett; and her daughter-in-law Ruth Churkey.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Gaede (Dean), Duane Churkey (Karen), Glen Churkey (Lisa Singleton), Ken Churkey and Harvey Churkey (Caren); her brother Mike Purgett (Roxane); and her sister-in-law Roxanne Purgett. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild; expecting 1 more great grandchild, and 1 more great, great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Stevens Point Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1510 Sherman Ave, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (N14707 French Town Ave, Withee, WI 54498).
