She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold LaBlanc and Christine LaBlanc (Nielsen); and her granddaughter Lindsey. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Bie; her children, Rick Bie (Roberta) of Stevens Point and Monica Czapiewski (Rick) of New Auburn; her sisters, Suzanne Trevisan (Reg), Kathryn King (Bob) of Orlando, FL and Jane Hisgen (Jon) of Middleton; and her grandchildren, Kesley Effertz (Damian), Rick Czapiewski and Kevin Czapiewski. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions can be made in Joan's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
