With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Glodowski of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Valerian Glodowski and Cecilia Glodowski (Bigalke). He is survived by: his wife Tharsilla Schultz (Tharcy) of Peter's Church; his children, Georgann Mackie, Patrice Wasmundt, Christine Svennes (Rick), Phillip (Katie), Matthew (Jolene) and Leanne Jeidy; his grandchildren, Hannah Luedtke (Alex), Aimee Mackie (Ruben Huisintveld), Rubie Clements (Derek), Lydia Nissan (John), Esther Mackie, Yorrick Mackie (Aivree), Holly, Heather Wasmundt, Linnea, Annika Svennes, Maribel, Shelby, Clayton Glodowski, Lake, Jeannette, Joseph, Hunter Glodowski, Zack, Wyatt, Violet and Rosalie Jeidy; his great grandchildren, Zane, Wesley Luedtke, Georgie Huisintveld and Benson Clements; and his siblings, Valerian (Delores), Richard (Betty), Thomas (Sherry), Fred (Kathy), Michael, Daniel (Julie), Joan Pogorzelski (Richard), Kathy Smith (Bill) and Susan Janiszewski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Church (800 4th Ave, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (800 4th Ave, Stevens Point, WI 54481).
