He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simkowski and Margaret Simkowski (Schmanski); his wife Grace Marie Kaminski; his former wife Loretta M. Laska (Woloshek); his daughter Bonnie Warzinik; and his brothers, Harry, Theodore, Stanley, Chester and Leonard.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Simkowski of Madison and John Simkowski (Janet) of Stevens Point. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Ernie's name will be established at a later date.
