Ela Plaut Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ela Plaut of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ela Plaut to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cäcilie Witte and Antonius Witte; her husband Herbert; and her siblings, Klaus Witte and Maja Welschof.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nicole Van Tiem (Kurt) of Stevens Point, WI and Fabiola Canale (Tom) of Fort Collins, CO; her grandchildren, Antony, Natalie Meyer (Quest), Frederick, Tatiana, Kristoph and Felix; her great grandchild Thérèze; and her siblings, Hildegard Herwig and Heinz Witte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many good friends.

Masks and social distancing will be required at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to "Food for the Poor".
