She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kurtz and Elizabeth Kurtz (Hackbarth); her former husband Edward Makuski; her husband Robert Peplinski; her son Robert Makuski; her grandsons, Travis Makuski and Carson Makuski; her siblings, James Kurtz, Lois Daniels (Jerome) and Joyce Cottone (Tony); and her brother-in-law Richard Garske.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Makuski (Cindy) of Osseo, David Makuski (Carol) of Ogdensburg, Steve Makuski of Amherst Jct, James Makuski (Carrie) of Stevens Point and Suzi Literski (Cary) of Amherst; her sisters, Delores Knudson of Pewaukee and Barbara Garske of Amherst; and her sister-in-law Cathy Kurtz of Milwaukee. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (453 S Main St, Amherst, WI 54406). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
