He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Raymond Owens and Elizabeth "Betty" White Donnen Owens; his brother John; and his siblings-in-law, Debra Owens and Paul Skroch.
He is survived by: his daughter Kate Pexa (Owens); his wife Mary Lynn Owens (Skroch); his children, Sally Owens (Mark Unertl) and Edward Owens (Jessica Owens); his granddaughters, Ada (Sell), Lavongsa (Ty Lavongsa) and Zoe Sell; his stepgranddaughter Adelaide Unertl; his brother Arthur Owens; his sister-in-law Olga Lambri; his niece Christine Owens; his nephew Paul Owens; his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Mckenzie (Jack Mckenzie), Faye Skroch (Ken Kurek) and Tricia Hill (Patrick Hill); his niece Melissa Pressentin; and his nephew Adam Hayes.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (2151 Stanley St, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In David's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Engine 2713 Fund through the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin.
