He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Froehlich and Bertha Froehlich (Radtke); his daughter Linda Converse (Patrick); and his siblings, Frieda Wetzel (Elmer), Elizabeth Papendorf (Vilas), Ruth Kruit (Ed), Erna Anderson (Leslie), Leslie Froehlich (Helen), Clarence Froehlich (Ann), Ada Hoerter (Edward), Walter Froehlich and Lucille Froehlich.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Froehlich; his son Don Froehlich; and his brothers, Henry Froehlich (Joan) and Steven Froehlich (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
