She was predeceased by: her father William Worden; and her brother Gary Worden. She is survived by: her former husband William M. Nelson; her daughter Rebecca Nelson; her grandchildren, William S. Carter VI, Katherine Carter and Emily Nelson; her siblings, Kenneth Worden (Mary) and Judith Stenta; and her close friend Art Holford Jr..
