He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Haase and Evelyn Haase (Jakusz). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Hans, Hannah and Hunter Obst; his wife Doris Kaminski; his children, Charles and Laura Obst (Tom); and his brothers, David (Kathleen), Tom (Renee) and Paul (Betty). He is also survived by brother and sister in laws.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Bartholomew Lift Fund or Promedica Hospice.
