He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yenter and Eva Yenter (Bushman); and his sisters, Angeline Lepak, Rose Wiza, Ann Flees and Esther Flees.

He is survived by: his children, Pat Gagas (Bob), Judy Yenter, Roger Yenter (Debbie), Alan Yenter (Lori), Jason Yenter and Jeff Yenter; his close friend Henrietta Omernick; his grandchildren, Keith, Lisa, Kim, Justin, Jaron, Sarah, Dustin, Josh, Aaron, Brandon, Brianna and Blake; and his brother John Yenter Jr.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
