She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Phillips and Rose Phillips (Simonis); and her husband James Kiefer. She is survived by: her children, Sue Volland (Tim), Tim Kiefer (Ana), Tom Kiefer (Ann), Todd Kiefer (Ann), Kim Kiefer (Buddy Royster), Ted Kiefer (Kathy) and Jodi Mayek (Alan); her grandchildren, Erin Volland (Don Karsh), Kelly Volland, Emily Volland, Robert Kiefer, Bri Kiefer, Peter Kiefer (Johanna), Tyler Kiefer and Taylor Kiefer; and her great grandchildren, James, Caroline and William Kiefer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital or Pacelli Catholic Schools.
