She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dethloff and Lydia Dethloff (Stroetz); her husband William; her sisters, Bette Burkhart (Robert) and Lois Tollefson (Warren "Tolly"); and her grandson Benjamin Walther.

She is survived by: her son Hans Walther (Suzanne); her grandsons, Austin Walther and Evan Walther (Amy); and her nephew Marc Burkhart (Marissa).
