He is survived by: his mother Gwendolyn Hakes (McGinnis); the mother of his children Shauna Flood; his children, Jesse Wolfe, Chelsy Helland, Aleshia Hetchler (Christopher), Jonathan Hakes (Chevy) and Sharlene Hakes; his grandchildren, Natalya Bartelt (Matt), Aleah Popowich, Raith Hetchler, Victor Hetchler, Alexaria Hetchler and Annabelle Miller; his siblings, Kathleen Dembinski (James), Donna Scott (Paul), Thomas Hakes (Mary), Richard Hakes (Sonia), Patricia White (William) and Randolph Hakes (Sue); his sister-in-law Elaine Hakes; his nephews, Marshall Hakes (Cari), Bill White (Shelly), Josh White (Sara) and Nathan White (Heather); and his great-nephew Dominique Hall. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and close friends.
