She is survived by: her parents, Barbara Rasmussen (Buttenhoff) and Deland Powers; her sister Leticia Willier (Jeff); her niece Dru Nicolet; and her grandmother Norma Buttenhoff. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She had worked at Marcus Cable and was transferred to Madison where she worked for the UW- Madison Foundation.
